The FN 509 Tactical is the multi-role pistol for concealed carry home defense and duty use with a factory-milled slide ready to mount a micro red dot. With a polished chamber and feed ramp the FN 509 feeds and extracts all factory ammunition reliably. – The cold hammer-forged barrel locks in accuracy with a recessed target crown and threaded muzzle to accept most suppressors. The standard issue 17-rd and 24-rd magazines provide the right balance for concealability and unmatched capacity.
FN’s 509 pistol was built to meet the US Army’s Modular Handgun System requirements. FN developed this platform with the help of industry experts and exhaustive testing of more than a million rounds. Now FNH has taken this fantastic handgun to the next level with the FN 509 Tactical. It’s a combat pistol with a threaded barrel for the optional addition of a suppressor, fully ambidextrous controls, and no safety to get in the way. This durable pistol has front and rear cocking serrations, interchangeable back straps and suppressor height tritium night sights. One of the most exciting features of the 509 Tactical is the inclusion of the FN Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System which allows the user to attach a wide variety of popular red dot sights to the pistol. It sports an ergonomic polymer frame that is more than tough enough to take anything you can throw at it and a Picatinny accessory rail which allows for the addition of weapon mounted flashlights or lasers.
