Chambered in the ever popular and widely available 9mm Luger cartridge, the POF Phoenix utilizes a direct blowback operating system and feeds from a proprietary 35 round magazine. The Phoenix features a monolithic upper receiver which pairs the handguard and upper into one single piece. This offers a solid mounting surface, a top rail with no gaps, and a clean look. The billet lower receiver features controls that will be immediately familiar to AR-15 shooters like an ambidextrous safety selector, ambidextrous magazine release, and ambidextrous bolt release. Additionally, the Phoenix features an ambidextrous forward charging handle, and because it does not use an AR-15 buffer system, the rear of the receiver includes a 1913 Picatinny rail that allows you to add a pistol brace if you choose.
